The Aztec civilization had many different types of materials that helped them create tools. The materials that they often used were obsidian, copper, andesite, flint, wood, sidian and chert. At first the obsidian, copper and chert were not very common but after the Aztec technology advanced they started using many highly developed materials.An example of one of the Aztecs significant tools is the copper axe; it is mostly used in farming. As you can see in the picture underneath, it demonstrates how a copper axe looks like and how it is used.
